The Chaplet to Saint Joseph comprises seven mysteries, inviting us to reflect on the seven sorrows and joys that Saint Joseph encountered during his earthly life. In a communication to Edson Glauber from Itapiranga, Brazil, Saint Joseph emphasized the significant importance and potent efficacy of this chaplet:
 
“Tell your brothers to pray the chaplet of my seven sorrows and seven joys because I wish to be their intercessor in theirgreatest difficulties. If you only knew how many graces God allows me to give you, you would not close your hearts andyou would never stop praying this chaplet, so powerful.”
